**What is CDW?**
Collision Damage Waiver, or CDW, is an optional service we offer to give you peace of mind while on the road. It’s not exactly insurance (You are already insured), but it acts a lot like it. Here’s the gist: for just £10 per day, CDW reduces your financial liability in case of damage to the vehicle.
**How Does it Work?**
Think of CDW as a shield. Our standard vehicle hire comes with an insurance excess of £250. This means in the event of damage, you’re responsible for costs up to £250. But, if you opt for CDW, this excess drops to zero! Yes, you read that right – £0!
**What’s the Catch?**
Well, we believe in transparency, so here it is. While CDW covers most parts of the vehicle, there are a couple of exceptions – door mirrors and windscreens. Why? These parts are more prone to damage and often require full replacement.
